SWIFT CREEK RESERVOIR GUIDE SERVICE

Let Charlie Machek take you on a memorable fishing outing on the Swift Creek Reservoir, affectionately known as “The Reservoir.”  This small lake located in Midlothian, Virginia is about 15 minutes outside of Richmond.  It is surrounded by the residential neighborhoods of Brandermill and Woodlake. Bass in The Reservoir can be caught both shallow and deep year round on a variety of different fishing techniques. Many fish in the 3 - 5 lb range live in the Reservoir, with big fish reaching 8 - 10 lbs.  While on your trip Charlie will share all of his secrets to catching fish.  Whether you are an expert, first time beginner, or just want a relaxing day on the water, Charlie will use his years of experience to put you on the fish. 

As a teenager growing up in the communities of Brandermill and Woodlake Charlie honed his skills as an angler on the 1700 acre trolling motor only reservoir from rafts, Jon Boats, and pontoon boats.  He currently fishes out of a fully rigged 20' Triton TR200 with all of the latest gear, and electronics.  He has been chasing largemouth bass on The Reservoir for 20 years, and knows where these fish like to hide.  With the Swift Creek Reservoir Guide Service, Charlie has taken fishing on The Reservoir to a whole new level.  (The use of a gas powered motor is NOT permited on the Swift Creek Reservoir. My bass boat is fitted with 3 electric motors to get us around the entire lake.)
